It’s easy to brighten up a tired corrugated iron fence using a fresh Resene gloss finish.
Weekend DIY with Mark Rayner - Project 64
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Bucket, corrugated iron fence (ours was previously painted with acrylic house paint), garden hose with clean running water, mineral turps for cleaning brushes, paintbrushes, paint stirrer, Resene Enamacryl tinted to Resene Sponge, Resene Galvo One, Resene Paint pot, Resene Paint Prep and Housewash, Rubber gloves, sandpaper, stiff-bristled brush.
To get the look: Mark painted the garden bench with Resene Enamacryl tinted to Resene Woodstock.
Other ideas: For a lower sheen finish, paint the fence with Resene Lumbersider instead.
