Stencilled house number

It’s quick and easy to create this eye-catching house number with a little bit of help from Resene.

How to stencil a house number

Weekend DIY with Mark Rayner - Project 57

Difficulty level: Easy

You will need: Circular piece of wood (we used a small chopping board), craft knife, damp cloth, low tack masking tape, paintbrushes, print out of house number, Resene Quick Dry, Resene testpots of Resene Aquamarine and Resene Sea Nymph, sandpaper.

To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Fringy Flower.

Other ideas: For a bold orange and blue contrast, stipple Resene Elvis over a basecoat of Resene Adrenalin.
