Resene – Get creative, from Homestyle magazine
Create a designated spot to enjoy the great indoors.
You will need:
Instructions:
Come up with your design – it’s helpful to draw it to scale on a piece of paper first. I went for an abstract, midcentury vibe.
Put some old newspaper on the ground and tape the corners flat, or use a Resene dropcloth. Draw your design in fabric pencil onto your fabric.
Apply your Resene paint to the designated areas, ensuring that the fabric is evenly coated, and let it dry flat. Now you have the perfect mat for a designated board-game spot, indoor picinic or play rug – whatever your age.
Mat is painted in Resene Antidote, Resene Desperado, Resene Fiddlesticks and Resene McKenzie. Step ladder painted in Resene Wrangler. DIY noughts and crosses board painted in Resene Twizel.
