Take back your time with myResene Trade Order

As well as innovating paint formulations and their wide range of products, Resene is also committed to improving business fundamentals for trade customers. One such advancement is the launch of the new app, myResene Trade Order, which has been designed to give back one of a tradie’s most valuable assets: time.

This new online ordering service for Resene trade customers means that from the job site, workshop or on the go, you can quickly search for products, place orders and manage your pick-ups from your mobile device or tablet. You’re also able to choose your preferred pick-up date (where available), track your orders and stay up to date – no need to wait until you’re back in the office or at the computer in the evening. With everything located in one easy-to-access portal, the idea is that you’ll spend less time organising materials and more time on the tools.

“We created the app to provide our trade customers a quick and easy way to order products on the job without having to call or go into a Resene ColorShop,” says Hamish Waugh, Resene Sales Process & Operations Manager. “Using myResene Trade Order will streamline ordering and collecting product, saving tradies time and enabling them to spend more of their workday on-site.

“By placing an order in the app, our ColorShop team can make orders up ahead of pick-up time with a high level of accuracy, eliminating mistakes and mistints – It’s a win-win for painters and our staff.”

He says the app itself is mobile-friendly and easy to use. “The order process within myResene Trade Order is designed to be quick and simple; tradies themselves can see the available pack size and colour combinations for specific products through an easy order flow in the app.”

Hamish adds that Resene remains committed to their trade customers. “We will continue to help our customers succeed in the business – introducing new features and apps like myResene Trade Order is part of that. We will evolve as technology and working methods change over time. We’re also committed to listening to our customers – we encourage customers to tell us what we do well and what specifically helps them in business, but more importantly where we can do better!”
