My preference was to present an understated, harmonious colour palette that complemented the beautiful gardens surrounding the complex.
I was commissioned by the residents to present a colour scheme for the complex. I consulted with the team at the Newmarket Resene ColorShop and came up with a colour scheme that represents the integrity of the building.
My preference was to present an understated, harmonious colour palette that complemented the beautiful gardens surrounding the complex. It was important to consider the structural references of the building, copper hoods, spouting, garage doors and window joinery. Equally important was the light reflectance of the finishes.
The final colour scheme sits well with the specifications and surrounding urban and park environment.
Colours used: Resene Nomad, Resene Pravda, Resene Raven.
