Shaped by Time: The Duke Hotel

This is a space where the old meets the new and writing a beautiful new chapter for the new duke of Enmore.

The Duke of Enmore has served Sydneysiders for 149 years through generations and generations, the challenge is to protect the memories of the Duke hotel yet generate more revenue than ever and become the most iconic landmark in Enmore.

The Duke Hotel Bar

The concept is 'Shaped by Time'. The journey of the Duke hotel has imprinted in many memories, the beautiful sandstone and Canyon symbolised the layers of extension and rebuild of the building, and the patrons through time shaped the duke hotel of what it is now. The character of our client is vibrant, quirky and something different, a bit contrasting a bit unexpected, but FUN, with a need to keep the essence and combine the historical venue of the Duke hotel, creating the unforgettable experience for the patrons that shaped this bar in Enmore.

When entering the door the space resembles a traditional English pub, with leather seating and floor to ceiling whisky bar, it almost feels like a time capsule where time stops. Then enter to the atrium with a 6 metre high dining space and upstairs with different scales of private function booth/room and cocktail mezzanine. This is a space where mates want to celebrate their birthdays, a space in which families want to gather, a space everyone will love to linger.

The Duke Hotel Restaurant

Some of the important elements that remember the history are the original decorative ceiling, coloured glass windows, traditional patterns, leather seating, fireplace and poster wall.
