Walls in this powder room feature easy-clean Resene paint tinted to Resene Mamma Mia.
Aesthetics are just part of the story when it comes to choosing a paint finish for kitchens and bathrooms. Durability and low-maintenance surfaces are other key considerations.
Resene offers two paints that are well suited to wet areas of the home. Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen Kitchen & Bathroom combines the durability and easy cleaning of a low-sheen waterborne enamel with added anti-bacterial silver protection and MoulDefender to minimise bacteria and mould growth.
Anti-bacterial silver protection has been recognised internationally as a safe and healthy method of deodorising and sanitising surfaces that come in contact with skin, food and water.
Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen also has the benefit of being a low-odour, Environmental Choice-approved paint that provides a durable, washable finish. Its slight sheen helps reduce the appearance of surface imperfections, which makes it well suited to older as well as new homes.
For trim and joinery in wet areas, Resene recommends Resene Lustacryl Kitchen & Bathroom. This paint is also available with anti-bacterial silver and MoulDefender, and can be used on walls to create a semi-gloss finish.
