How to make your own cane mat artworks for your walls

You don’t need to spend a lot of money to add colour to your wall. Add a touch of colour to your walls by painting cane mats in your favourite Resene colours.

You will need

Instructions

  1. Wipe down the can mats to ensure they are clean and leave to dry.
  2. Paint each cane mat in your Resene colour. For a tone on tone look use a handful of colours in the same colour group. Nikki used Resene Havoc, Resene Rapture, Resene Ruby Tuesday and Resene Glorious.

Top tip: Try using cane sun hats in place of can mats for a bit of summer fun that you can enjoy year–round.
