Make your own blackboard message tray

• Resene FX Blackboard Paint
• Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer
• Testpot brush
• Tray

Instructions

1. Wipe the tray clean and allow to dry.
2. Apply Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer to help the topcoat stick. Or you can apply the Resene paint directly, but you may find the first coat skids around a little if your tray is very smooth.
3. Apply Resene FX Blackboard Paint in two coats. Allow to dry.
4. Write your fun message using chalk. Wipe off and change the message when you wish to.

Top tip: Use Resene FX Chalkboard Paint instead of Resene FX Blackboard Paint for a colourful tray message board.
