Paint your own easy DIY beauty jars

• Glass jars
• Masking tape
• Paint brush and details brush
• Testpots in your choice of colours; Nikki used Resene Spindle, Resene Freelance and Resene Gold Dust

Instructions

1. With the tape, mask off a line around a third of the way up the glass jar. Paint the bottom in Resene Spindle. Let dry.
2. Using Resene Freelance, paint along the masking tape over Resene Spindle, and creating a wavy pattern underneath instead of a straight line. Remove the tape, and allow to dry.
3. Taking the details brush and Resene Gold Dust, dot along the bottom of the Resene Freelance line giving it a neat finish. Leave to dry and fill with your beauty items.

Top tip: Apply a band of Resene FX Blackboard Paint or Resene FX Chalkboard Paint to each jar so you can label each jar, so you remember where to put things back.
