take a testpot

From habitat highlights - issue 42, small projects

Simple projects using Resene testpots create practical, eye-catching features around your home.

Take a stand

Protect your surfaces and literally elevate your plant pots with this pot stand. Complement your flowers by painting your pot stand in Resene colours inspired by your flowers or use a Resene wood stain for a more natural look.

top tip  For extra texture on your pot or to help hide imperfections, use Resene Sandtex Mediterranean textured effect instead of normal paint.

Testpot table

This clever table is a smart and stylish way to use up offcuts of timber as well as leftover Resene paints and stains from your DIY projects – or you can create it from scratch using inexpensive timber strips and Resene testpots. It works well as a foyer table for keys and phones or as a cool bedside table.

top tip  If you want to adjust the sheen of your paint finish, apply Resene Concrete Clear on top in gloss, satin or flat.
