Realistic good looks
Timber-look claddings can now look even more realistic with new Resene Forester. The semi-transparent timber stain-effect finish is based on a tough 100% acrylic resin to ensure maximum durability in all exposed conditions. Whites & neutrals
The new The Range Whites & Neutrals fandeck has been released with a mix of favourites from the last fandeck, new on-trend neutrals and extra variations of popular Resene neutrals. While there is a trend to some creams, such as Resene Clotted Cream in The Range fashion colours, there is still a strong move towards neutrals with a hint of green in them, such as Resene Thorndon Cream. Greige is on the upswing as beige hues move to greyed off versions. Beige is still big, but greige offers a new sleeker alternative. The individual loose palettes of whites and neutrals are also being updated to match the updated fandeck selection.

Lined up luxury
The new Contro bath by Athena has the opulent modern appeal of a free-standing bath with the practical benefits of being positioned flush against the wall. Unlike traditional free-standing baths, tapware can be wall mounted or fitted to the integrated shelf. The double-ended style lets you recline at either end. Measuring 1600mm x 750mm, the Contro bath is available with an optional factory fitted aluminium upstand for a watertight seal between the bath and wall. Black on black
Combining traditional elegance with contemporary good looks is easy with many of the latest wallpaper designs. This black-on-black damask pattern (code 47616) is equally at home in a classic interior, or a modern one like this. It's one of the many designs in the new Resene Habitat wallpaper collection. Going troppo
Resene is introducing exciting new designs to the Resene Curtain Collection to give even greater impact to your interiors. All of the fabrics come with paint colour match suggestions to make co-ordination easy. This design, Resene Coral, turns up the heat with a tropical touch of colour. This print features large scale punchy red and grey coral heads on a 100% hemp background Try it with Resene Pohutukawa walls (pictured), Resene Stonehenge or Resene Half Tea. Where muka meets uhi
Resene has for many years supported the DIY Marae series, which focuses on a collaborative effort to protect and rejuvenate Marae buildings. Through those many projects, the Resene Heritage colour range has been constantly referred to. In many cases, early colours were similar for European and Maori buildings, purely because of the limited colour technology and palettes available. Traditional Maori colours do have their own unique nuances, and thanks to Maori ethnographer Wiremu Puke, seven key hues have now been reproduced for the updated Resene Heritage colour collection with the Traditional Maori Colour Palette. Side-to-side
An innovative new side-to-side roller blind solves the problem of flexible window dressings for bifolding doors and windows. The Securo Side Roll is easy to operate and will slide open to any desired position with the aid of its patented brake system. The sleek retrofit housing neatly attaches to any existing opening. The blind spans up to 4.2 metres in a single screen or up to 8.4 metres in a double, and can be used for privacy, light or insect control. Mid-century essence
The essence of mid-century Scandinavian style is captured perfectly by Danske Mobler in two of the latest designs from its woodwork factory in Auckland. The Larson dining table is a generous 2.3-metre length so easily sits 8 to 10 people, and the Jansen dining chairs couldn’t be more retro in style. Taking care of metal
Metals of all types are turning up in our homes. Here to help, Resene GP Metal Primer is a general purpose (GP) primer for exterior and interior metals – steel, galvanised steel and Zincalume. It is ideal over sound metal surfaces and mild to moderately rusted surfaces – both red rust and zinc oxide – or white rust, which occurs on galvanised steel and zinc. It’s thick, which means you can get a lot of primer protection in just one coat, yet still easy to apply and use. Resene also has a range of galvanised iron primers – Resene Galvo One and Resene Galvo-Prime. These are ideal for roofs, before topcoating in Resene Summit Roof for a durable finish.
