Add sumptuous drama with deep greens.

Luxe interiors used to be all about bling. Today, luxury is expressed in more understated ways, using rich dark Resene colours, statement pieces like a designer rug or eye-catching armchairs, and organic shapes. It’s a more grounded look, perhaps with a hint of mid-century glam, that can be adapted to many house styles. Deep greens have been a longtime decorating favourite, from clear greenstone jades to bitter olives. These are also colours that echo the tones of the natural world around us, so feel reassuring and genuine. Don’t be scared to mix up different types of greens within the same space – just as you would see in nature. Deep Resene greens also pair well with the curves and fluid lines that are popular today – again, just as in nature.
