A child's dreamA move back to New Zealand from Australia inspired the Perry family to create their own piece of Australia in their own home. After buying many testpots, Mum Diane cleverly thought to paint a mural of Australia's surreal island, Bribie. Patricia Collins, a family friend and avid artist, was enticed to create the vision in the bathroom working only with Resene testpots. After days and weeks of effort, the fantastic feature was finished, replicating a photo taken when the family visited Bribie. The creativity didn't stop there. The home includes a large garage, full of things that were seldom used. Three quarters of the garage was partitioned off giving room for an entrance hall for a favoured wrestling collection plus a large area where the children could relax, run around, have fun and leave the parents in peace. Patricia was called back into duty and this time created a camouflage effect in the now renamed 'bunker', with an entrance hall in Resene Shuttle Grey.
