Perfectly pretty

The nursery was painted in Resene Duck Egg Blue. Vanessa absolutely loves the colour – every time she walks into the room, she falls in love with it a little bit more! Her accountant by day husband, perfectionist painter by night had a big job as previously it was Resene Half Alabaster meets Resene Aviator so painting out the line was a challenge!!! Vanessa loves how the colour changes depending on the time of day – in the morning this room gets the morning sun so it feels very warm and almost has a glow to it.

They only discovered the original windows behind the walls last year when they took a punt and removed the plasterboard to check if they were still there – and they were! They have been in the house for over 16 years and have renovated the whole house and put back as many original features as possible. The wall colour picks up the green in the windows nicely. And the curtain ties in perfectly. Vanessa loves this room so much because the paint colour is so pretty and feminine and you can tie in so many pretty coloured accessories with it.
