Colour flow

The kitchen was bright pink and the laundry was bright green! They used the same Karen Walker palette with Resene Ecru White as the base colour with blocks of Resene Half Periglacial Blue and Resene Beryl Green. This was teamed with a Formica® bench top almost identical to Resene Beryl Green.

Similar to their kitchen they reused the original sink, added a bait/overflow freezer, front loader washing machine and the cabinet maker made the ply frame with shelves for Kmart washing baskets. The cabinet maker also made the circular wall shelves for the plants. They created the cork backsplash and hooks themselves. The faucet was found in an op shop in great condition for $10.

The laundry is such a great space for the laundry, brewing (husband) and other messy projects.
