Welcome in!

Today, Lyn's home is anything but forgettable. Her Calypso Cuban makeover is reflective of a charming and happy little canine often referred to as the Cuban Silk Dog. The colours chosen reflects the joyful disposition of the National dog of Cuba, the Havanese. These little canine charmers reside unrestricted here. The property remains a work in progress with the dining and lounge area the last to be painted and outside the pergolas, east side trellis and fence next on the agenda to merge in with the 'mothership' colours of Resene Half Tuna, Resene Conifer, Resene Hyperactive and Resene Freestyling.

The bathroom was at best depressing so the challenge was how to create a smile each time you entered? Cuba is known for its gaiety and bright colours so stripes it was with a repaint of old white drawers.

Resene Fresh and Resene Consuela were pulled out of the stripes to paint the sunroom, two bedrooms, the entrance, laundry, toilet and kitchen with Resene Half Chicago for the kitchen joinery doors. Resene Biloba Flower was also pulled from the bathroom stripes to brighten and lighten the hallway.

There is always a smile when friends and family enter my property. Lyn thinks her little home with her fur family smiles back.

To complete the look, the Canvas Man Whanganui managed to supply near perfect matching colours for blinds in both the north and south porches for the puppy nursery and entertainment.
