Funky feature

This is Jessica’s bedroom. She is 15 years old and has an identical twin, Kaitlyn. She wanted a colourful, contemporary, funky bedroom feature that would pop against the colour of the other three walls in her room and wanted her bedroom to be completely different to Kaitlyn’s room.

It was suggested at the local Resene ColorShop that she try painting geometric shapes on the feature wall. Jess has a flair for interior design and looked online for inspiration. Dad, Chris, helped draw up the design and tape it, and both Jessica and Kaitlyn painted the room.

Resene Sports Star, Resene Studio, Resene Happy and Resene Smitten reflect her bright and positive outlook on life. The other internal walls are painted in Resene Quarter Truffle. Jessica absolutely loves the colours and design that she chose, and can proudly enjoy her one of a kind bedroom.
