70s melds with modern

Leisha loves 1970s homes; everything about her home reminds her of growing up – beautiful memories – baking cakes, laughing, fighting with siblings and colouring in on the carpet in front of the TV with hot milo. They both just love the 1970s era and new modern bits and bobs, so the house is a mix of the new and old. It highlights their character and all their loves.

The previous owner had started the design project well and she definitely had an eye for detail. The inspiration was to repaint the whole house in Resene Half Thorndon Cream (walls) and Resene Black White (ceiling and doors) – give it a clean lease of life and get everything looking plain and neutral!

Leisha loves the downstairs living area, kitchen and entertainer's patio pool area. Once they had painted the house and it was looking crisp and clean, they added new furniture and made their new nest into a home.
