Worth saving

You know how properties find you, well this one did just that. The treasures both inside and outside the property were well covered over with dust, dirt and grass. When Anne walked into the house with the family member who was selling the property she discovered a property that was whispering to her ‘save me, please don’t demolish me’.

When Anne looked over to the family member she was crying. She told Anne the story and this also made Anne cry. Anne decided she would commit to saving the gem, which had so many gidgets and gadgets in its possession that she named the property Gidget.

Anne already had ideas of how Gidget was going to look by restoring the layout rather than extending the floor plan. Looking for a lively colour to paint the exterior led her to the Resene colour charts on the internet. Anne had a yellow base in her mind to make Gidget shine bright like the sun. After saving Resene colours – Resene April Sun, Resene Alo Alo, Resene Buddha Gold, Resene Barberry - peering into the colours it was Resene Alo Alo that shone.

With the colour decision made, all that was left was to paint Gidget in the chosen Resene Alo Alo.
