Black meets blue

The black was wiped off to let some of the Resene Surfs Up show through. The black looks clean, fresh and sophisticated in the lush bush setting. The projecting forms were highlighted with Resene Scarpa Flow or Resene Grey Chateau to allow the black core form to retain its integrity.

The roof was changed from Karaka to Resene CoolColour Grey Chateau to relieve the summer heat build up. This was very successful.

Inside an achromatic scheme was adopted to allow the clear finished Rimu frame and trim to articulate the forms. Black carpet provided a sophisticated ground to the rooms.

The walls were painted Resene Alabaster generally. The living room has a complex colour of Resene Alabaster with pearlescent glaze.
