Stylishly relaxed

The Eunson home was built in the 1980s and was an ex-rental. The dining room had embossed wallpaper which was painted over in white, the curtains were pink and the carpet caramel.

Rhonda has now painted the room with Resene Double Perfect Taupe on three walls with a feature wall of wallpaper with silver and white flowers. The carpet has a brown grey colouring which picks up the paint colour off the walls. The door and window reveals are finished in Resene Alabaster.

To add an extra feature, Rhonda brought in an old wooden cabinet using Resene paints in stripes of Resene Sea Nymph, Resene Careys Pink, Resene Norwegian Blue, Resene Chardonnay, Resene Sweetcorn and for the top and smaller stripes, Resene Alabaster.

The window is dressed with a white venetian and there are copper curtains on the window/door.

The room has a warm and relaxed ambiance yet is also stylish, just what Rhonda was aiming for.
