Favourites forward

The Koperdraat-Doherty family bought their home and while it had a lovely homely feel to it, it desperately needed a lick of paint. They painted most of the walls in the lounge Resene Ship Cove with one wall in Resene Roman Coffee. The colour combination reminds them of their years living in Greece. All the dark brown framing and doors had to go as well, so they were painted in Resene Ghost.

Nine years after they purchased their home, they started an extension project to the house. They still liked the colours they chose nine years earlier, so they used the same ideas. Their new master bedroom has a feature wall in Resene True Blue complemented by remaining walls in Resene Milestone. The ensuite is also finished in Resene Ship Cove. And one wall in their new lounge is again Resene Roman Coffee with the trims and edges of the carpeted stairs in Resene Ghost. The front of the house got a new double glazed window and sliding doors. Then after an undercoat, it was painted in Resene Coffee Bean, and the front door in Resene Pohutukawa. It's a fresh new look inspired by favourites from the past.
