This inviting, relaxed space demonstrates how to bring the relaxed, joyful holiday vibe into any room – it doesn’t have to be limited to the bach!

Here even the wall colours – Resene Thumbs Up on the lower half and Resene Poured Milk on the upper – meet in a relaxed, hand-rolled line, rather than a hard-masked edge. The sunset tones of the wall are expanded into the terracotta-coloured couch and the shimmer of the Resene FX Rose Gold coat stand.

The floor in Resene Yuma, matches the natural fibres and tones of the mat to create more blurred edges. The deep navy pot in Resene King Tide and the small plant pot in Resene Twilight Zone, relate back to the mat, along with the pale pink cushion, the wall platters in Resene Napa and Resene Sea Fog and the table vase in Resene Eighth Stonewashed, to pull what might seem to be an unexpected colour combination into a cohesive, calming retreat.
