For kids that love colour, these intersecting circles of modern pastels are just the ticket. Big and beautiful, it’s a great way to add pattern and colour without overwhelming.
While pale pastels were traditionally used for kids’ rooms, dusky pastels are a fresh take and is much more popular of late. Kids also don’t grow out of the colours as quickly – they look just as good in a nursery as they do in a tween’s bedroom. Bring the colours through in the bed linen and furniture for a complete colour scheme. Keep it modern with a pastel grey rug – or go a step further with painted floors, such as Resene Loblolly which we’ve used in this kid’s bedroom.
