Project ideas and inspiration from Good magazine
Is your fridge looking dated and dull? Turn an eyesore into a conversation starter with this clever chalk paint transformation.
Step one: Check that your fridge is in good working order and that all the seals are intact. Sand the entire paintable surface using a light grade sandpaper. Once the sanding is complete, wipe down all surfaces with a damp but well wrung out cloth.
Step two: Cover all paintable surfaces with a light, even coat of Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer. Allow at least two hours to dry.

Step three: Add a top coat over all paintable surfaces using a chalkboard version of Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen Waterborne Enamel. We chose the soft blue tones of Resene Wanaka.
Get the look: If you find it tricky cutting in using a fine paintbrush, cover any edges with masking tape before adding your top coat. Ensure you remove the tape before the paint dries.
