Transform a drab wooden side table into a high gloss treasure with a little bit of help from Resene.
Fun with furniture with Mark Rayner - Project 51
Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Clean cloth, mineral turps for washing brushes, old wooden side table, paintbrushes, Resene Qristal Clear polyurethane, Resene Danska Teak Oil, Resene Super Gloss tinted to Resene Code Red, or use Resene Enamacryl for a waterborne enamel finish, Resene Wood Primer, sandpaper.
To get the look: Mark painted the background tongue and groove with Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Soft Mint.
Other ideas: For a striking black effect use Resene Super Gloss tinted to Resene All Black.
