Background to mural creation:
Hataitai Playcentre were doing an upgrade to the playground and creating a dry riverbed on one boundary, to provide the opportunity for children to play with water and dam it with rocks, etc.  The updated planted and grassed areas at the centre extend right up to the mural, which is themed river/forest to add to the playing area.
