Rebecca Johnson's first decorating project has earned her as fabulous prize - $500 worth of Resene paint vouchers - as this month's winner.
Resene's EzyPaint system and a Resene colour consultant helped Rebecca Johnson choose the Resene Chatelle ad Resene Wasabi that has transformed the bedroom of her Lower Hutt home. Rebecca has always loved a purple and green combination and she had collected accessories in these colours before she began work on turning the previously unlined, stand-alone garage space of her 40s home into this fresh and tranquil room.
"I tried out EzyPaint - a good thing to do, as I changed my mind a couple of times", Rebecca explains. "The Resene staff were great and helped me choose a selection of greens which I could match up with my lampshades. I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out".
A sheer tablecloth used as a chair cover, and new lamps on the repainted bedside cabinets that had once belonged to her grandmother, complete the room that Rebecca has decorated especially for her visiting sisters-in-law and friends.
