Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 67

Difficulty level: Moderate

You will need: Paintbrushes (including artists’ brush), Resene Terracotta Sealer, Resene Testpots of Resene Curious Blue, Resene Hi Jinx, Resene Turbo and Resene Volcano

Top tip: Pot up with a bright yellow daisy for a fabulous birthday or Christmas gift.

Here's another idea: This Christmas pot was painted with testpots of Resene Gorse, Resene Kermit, Resene Lickety Split, Resene Pulse and Resene Volcano.

Create a Christmas gift pot Another idea: Christmas colours

Step 1
Step one
Seal the inside and outside of the terracotta pot with one coat of Resene Terracotta Sealer and leave to dry for six hours.
Step 2
Step two
Paint the outside of the pot with two coats of Resene Hi Jinx, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step 3
Step three
Paint the top and inside rim of the pot with two coats of Resene Curious Blue, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step 4
Step four
Paint wording around the rim and daisy petals on the front of the pot with Resene Turbo. Allow to dry and then apply a second coat. Paint the centre of the daisy with Resene Volcano. How cool is that?
