It’s so easy to create this cool clown face from a paper plate and Clown face a few Resene testpots.

Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 114

Difficulty level: Easy

You will need: Paintbrushes, Paper plate, Resene Art Action Quick Dry, Resene testpots of Resene Alabaster, Resene All Black, Resene Lickety Split, Resene Rocket and Resene Shakespeare.

Top tip: If you don’t have a paper plate, simply trace a large circle on heavy cardboard and cut it out with scissors.

Here's another idea: This smiling sun plate was painted with Resene All Black, Resene Fizz and Resene Hi Jinx.

Step 1
Step one
Apply one coat of Resene Quick Dry to the paper plate and allow to dry for two hours.
Step 2

Apply one coat of Resene Alabaster to the paper plate and allow two hours to dry.
Step 3

Paint a clown mouth and nose with Resene Rocket.
Step 4
Step four
Paint crazy clown hair with Resene Lickety Split.
Step 5
Step five
Paint eyes with Resene Shakespeare. Allow two hours for all of these paint colours to dry.

Paint remaining face details with Resene All Black. Allow two hours to dry. What a cool clown!
