Create a touch of class with this sculpture that looks a million dollars.

Resene art with Mark Rayner - Project 02

Difficulty level: Moderate

You will need: Large rock with a sculptural form, paintbrush, PVA glue, rectangle of black felt, rectangular block of wood for plinth, Resene Enamacryl Metallic (now Resene FX Metallic) tinted to Resene Bullion, Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Porsche, Resene Multishield+ (now Resene Concrete Clear) Gloss, Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat, Testpot Resene Black, Testpot Resene Sandtex Superfine.

To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Rich Cream from the Resene Heritage Chart. The sculpture is standing on the shabby chic table (Resene art Project #3).

Other ideas: For a sleek and modern look try using Resene Silver Aluminium or Resene White Metal from the Resene Metallics range.
