Commonly seen overseas as an alternative to wallpaper and paint effects, interior wall murals are seldom viewed locally as an interior redecoration option.

A novice to murals, Yvonne Wallis was invited to complete an interior wall mural for her Christchurch neighbour who wished to bring a little of her native homeland to her new adopted country.

Resene testpots were selected as the creative medium, both for their wide colour availability giving hundreds of colour options and for the ability to intermix colours as required to create the bridging hues needed to complete the design. A work of art, the homeowner is delighted by her unique feature area and the once novice artist may have unexpectedly found herself a new career.
