Through the looking glass

This direct line of vision demands the use of superior interior surface finishes as there is no hiding surface imperfections under such uncluttered scrutiny.

A Level 5 paperfaced plasterboard finish was specified and achieved in the exposed interior area with Resene Broadwall Surface Prep used in place of traditional skimcoats to even out surface porosities in preparation for the application of the Lumbersider satin acrylic paint system.

The grey and neutral interior was achieved through a harmonic palette of Resene Double Pearl Lusta (interior walls), Resene Zeus (atrium), Resene Bokara Grey (steelwork in stairwells), Resene Silver Chalice (trims and architraves) and the piece de resistance – a metallic feature wall in Resene Blast Grey 1 worthy of holding the Gallagher brand sign aloft.
