Pallet hanger

Go green and upcycle an old wooden pallet into this crafty potted plant display.

Build a colourful pallet hanger for your garden pots

You will need:  A clean wooden pallet, paintbrushes, 8 x plastic pot hangers with screws, Resene Waterborne Woodsman testpots of Resene Driftwood, Resene Grey Green, Resene Silvered Grey, Resene Skywater and Resene Totem Pole, Resene Waterborne Woodsman tinted to Resene Tamarind, screwdriver, tape measure, 8 x terracotta pots planted with seasonal colour.

Top tip:  If your wooden pallet is a bit weathered, treat it first with Resene Moss & Mould Killer followed by Resene Timber and Deck Wash.

More ideas:  This pallet hanger is perfect for a changing display of seasonal potted annuals or bulbs – simply replace the pots with new ones each season. It would also make a great home for potted herbs, strawberries or even small succulents. Add extra colour by painting the terracotta pots to complement each stained strut.
