1920s table

Create a stylish Art Deco-inspired table using Resene Enamacryl and Resene Waterborne Colorwood natural wood stain.

Ways with wood with Mark Rayner - Project 11

Difficulty level: Moderate

You will need: an old varnished wooden table, a cloth, latex gloves, paintbrush, paint scraper, paint stripper and sandpaper. Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer, Resene Aquaclear satin, Resene Lustacryl semi-gloss waterborne enamel tinted to Resene All Black and Resene Waterborne Colorwood natural wood stain tinted to Resene Pistachio.

To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene Zylone Sheen tinted to Resene Nero and the skirting board with Resene Enamacryl tinted to Resene Alabaster.

Other ideas: For a darker green try Resene Waterborne Colorwood tinted to Resene Greenstone.
