Doll house

Transform an old wooden bookcase into a fun doll house with a little bit of help from Resene.

Resene Toys and Games with Mark Rayner - Project 27

Difficulty level: Challenging

You will need: Clean cloth, drill, low tack masking tape, old wooden bookcase, paintbrushes, pencil, piece of plywood cut to fit the front of the bookcase, Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Dreamer, Resene Quick Dry, Resene testpots of Resene All Black, Resene Malibu and Resene Rocket, sandpaper, screwdriver, set square, small hinges (x2), tape measure.

To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Half Dutch White.

Other ideas: Use a selection of Resene testpot colours and old wallpaper samples to decorate the interior of the doll house.
