“We have all hear the words ‘I Dare You’ at some point in our lives, my main memory is being a little kid and staying up late at night with my friends playing silly games.  When I saw Resene’s colour I Dare You, my automatic reaction was bright, bold and playful so being young and carefree became a prominent theme I decided to carry through my look.  I decided to quilt my entire garment with a diamond design as this reminds me of when I was younger and my grandma would always make quilts and pillowcases.

What I have felt radiating from this colour is a sense of warmth and comfort.  Being a kid picking buttercups from the garden, playing in the sun and just a feeling of happiness.  I want to portray that in my design, something sweet and young, and for the wearer to also feel that comfort that I do.”
