“When I first saw Resene Light Fantastic, it made me think back to my childhood memories. I wore a lot of yellow when I was younger, so I wanted to link my childhood memories into Resene Light Fantastic making this piece personal to me. Yellow typically portrays happiness and excitement. I’m hoping people will feel these emotions when they see my design.

I first got my inspiration from the sun, shining onto your skin and making you feel happy. And it made me remember the times I would spend outside in the sun as a kid. I then thought back to when me and my sister would go stay with my grandparents, my nana would make us bubble mixture and we would spend hours outside in the sunshine blowing and chasing the bubbles wondering where they would end up.

With thinking about “imagine the possibilities”, I wanted to imagine what it would be like to be a bubble, moving around freely going wherever the flow takes you and the journey you go on to get to where you want to be.”
