“My inspiration is from the 1930s era, with the mermaid gown look and the fitted bodice. I wanted to construct a garment that had shape and colour along with that flow or creativity and the power to seduce the viewers. I have been influenced by the way the sand dunes make patters with the line details, which is why I have used that detail on my garment.”
