Art inspiration

Pamela and Craig were inspired by a piece of art they purchased at a weekend market in Wanganui, which has magnificent shades of purple, green and a blue/grey as well as natural flax weaved into the Maori skirt type wall hanging.Using this, Resene colour charts and the Resene The Range fandeck, they chose colours that reflected who they are and their lifestyle. The Resene Biscotti that they selected as their main wall colour is a sandy natural colour that fits with their casual beach lifestyle and they chose more art that fitted with the theme - including red jandals and a canvas painting with beach flax in reds. The Resene Flourish feature wall brightens the room and highlights their vibrant fun personalities. The wall gets the afternoon sun and is actually a very serene colour so it helps to display their treasures on floating shelves. Their fireplace is painted Resene Jagger, which is also the main bedroom colour, and contrasts well against the white of the mantelpiece and the vibrant green of the feature wall.
