Neutral no more

The Parry’s master bedroom has just been painted in the fantastically bold Resene Lipstick complemented by Resene Ceiling White on the ceiling.

Three years ago they moved towns, changed jobs and bought their grandparent's house. It's a solid weatherboard home built by their grandfather and his friends in 1950 and every room holds the warm memory of a much missed gran. Unfortunately its last makeover was many many years ago.

When they first moved in, Kylie was heavily pregnant and with an older child in tow they couldn't face making decorating decisions, so they wallpapered the whole house beige. As they are not naturally neutral people it began to take its toll. A visit by Kylie’s mum prompted them to repaint the bedroom. In one day (right over the beige wallpaper!) and with less than $100 to spend they have transformed their space from boring bedroom to brilliant boudoir. It makes them smile every time they walk into it. They're saving to paint the hall next...
