Inspiring the neighbourhood

Wanting something unique for their exterior house painting project, the May family tried many testpots before finally finding the winning combination of walls in Resene Double Rakaia, architraves in Resene Bastille, sills in Resene Castro, and frames in Resene Eighth Pearl Lusta.

Next on the list was their kitchen renovation. Again, they wanted something 'outside the box' but still tasteful.  And you can’t get more tasteful than chocolate!  The walls are a gorgeous chocolate brown - the colour is Resene Wood Bark.  

They are very proud of the result and thank their fabulous painters for an exceptional job - the finish on the exterior walls is amazing considering the age of the wood.  They took their time and even re-painted any areas that weren’t satisfactory. In fact, since completing their house, their neighbours have started their own painting projects.
