Lounge to living

Julie’s plans of having an entertainment area and deck were turned upside down when she did such a good job that she was convinced to rent out the space instead!.

She designed a studio apartment in Feilding, decorated in Resene paints. The apartment is in an area that used to be the 'space' underneath what was originally a pole house. The original purpose for the area was as an entertainment area/deck but, after several friends had seen it completed, they were particularly complimentary about the decorating and recommended that it would be better and more fiscally responsible if it was converted to a self-contained apartment. Taking their advice, it is now rented by a tenant who is very comfortable there.

The exterior is painted in Resene Espirit, the kitchen/bathroom areas in Resene Stone Age and the living area and bedroom in Resene Triple Spanish White all topped off with white Resene Ceiling Paint on ceilings. And with the rent coming in, the work has paid for itself many times over.
