Fabric starter

In restoring the bed ends, Odette gathered all the inspiration she needed for her new colour scheme from the fabric. Picking out the grey from the fabric she translated it into Resene Delta on the walls complemented with Resene Quarter Delta.

A real do it yourself job, Odette panelled the walls herself before painting them in Resene Enamacryl. She also painted the two side drawers in Resene Periglacial Blue from the Karen Walker range and made the cushions. The chest at the bed end was painted in matching finish then covered with fabric. She even painted the spots on the curtains!

All of this was packed in around her dual roles working with her husband on a dairy run off and her own business decorating venues for weddings, balls and the like. She loves the challenge of taking something old and making it look like new, whether it be an old piece of furniture or a dark old hall for a wedding. And she often turns to Resene products to help her with the transformations.
