Natural neutralsThe Thompson house features a schist stone, plaster and cedar exterior. Their garden has predominantly natives with schist stone features. They aimed to have a natural, neutral colour to paint the house exterior that would complement sage green joinery, brown roof and wood feature. After poring over Resene colour charts they chose Resene Double Bison Hide for their house exterior. Inside the walls are mostly natural neutral colours also, although othe dining room has a lovely depth of brown to it. In their ensuite they chose Resene Half Pavlova to complement light cream tiles, mosaic stone shower base and cream wall tiles. The Thompsons have found “Resene paint has been a fabulous product to work with and we can now enjoy our updated fresh look.”.
