Sandy hues

The Wright family house at beautiful Ohiwa Beach was looking very much the worse for wear and barely painted in yellow and green. After making it their own, they wanted it to blend in better with the fantastic beach and surrounding pohutukawas. This led to the colour choice of Resene Eighth Napa, Resene Half Napa and Resene Double Napa, reminiscent of wet and dry sand colours.

Davy Painters of Whakatane completed the painting side of the project taking an extensive six days of surface preparation alone. The base, soffits and fascias are now finished in Resene Eighth Napa, Resene Half Napa features on the upstairs walls and Resene Double Napa on the doors, timber railings and posts. The Resene colour palette blends in well with the new doors and windows across the front of the home.

And now that the work is complete, the Wright family are free to admire their home from the waters of the beach!
