Cool retreatFrom a base of drab cream wallpaper Joanna created a cool funky retreat for her 10 year old son. She selected three Resene colours - Resene Governor Bay, Resene Hullabaloo and Resene White and combined them together into a design with clean lines that wouldn't be outgrown in the teenage years. Joanna decided on a series of wide and thin stripes and measured the room with surprisingly little drama before applying the selected colours to the appropriate stripes. The result is clean striking blue and teal wide stripes balanced by white narrow stripes, a result that both mother and son are rapt with.
