Spot on
A new and unique look was wanted for a teenaged girl's bedroom. Resene Chablis was chosen as a base on all walls to bring in the colours of the flower petals from the magnolia tree outside the bedroom window.

Then to add some fun into the room they added spots to co-ordinate with the duvet cover. To create the feature wall they used stencils out of firm cardstock in four different sizes and painted the spots using a sea sponge and Resene testpots of Resene Deep Blush, Resene Cupid, Resene Silver Tree and Resene Bitter Lemon.

With limited floor space they created a wall unit for books, knick knacks, cosmetics and jewellery and added a funky curved mirror to bring in more light and to make the room appear wider. The curtains are white poplin finished with a three pass blockout to protect against the late afternoon sun and a small band of matching spots sewn along the bottom to add a little extra punch.
