Painted Lockwood
First they sanded all the walls, then applied sealer, filled and sanded the knot holes then applied an undercoat. With the surface preparation complete, topcoats of Resene Milk White from the Resene Karen Walker collection were painted onto most interior areas.
The same technique was used in the kitchen, including painting the laminated cupboard doors and drawer fronts in Resene Sandspit Brown, also from the Resene Karen Walker collection. The result has been a subtle complementary highlight between the Resene Milk White walls and the dark green benchtop.
The painted finish transforms the interior from aged timber to a fresh modernised look. Thanks to Jennifer Judd of Warkworth.
